ENGLISH + TENNIS PROGRAMME: £378 per week.
Everybody knows that Wimbledon is famous for tennis! Our newest course is ENGLISH + TENNIS, available all year round.
Our Japanese student Yuka, said: ‘I am not good at speaking English but I enjoying the tennis lesson because my teacher taught me very well. I got the points of techniques of tennis. Thank you for coaching. I would recommend it.’
Any tennis level is acceptable! The weekly programme includes
the following:
- English lessons in the mornings (15 hour course), Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 12.45pm.
- Private tennis lessons 3 afternoons a week at Westside Lawn Tennis Club, in Wimbledon.
- Participation in a weekly Saturday morning 'Improvers Group' at the Tennis Club (a group coaching session with other players of varying abilities).
- Daily guaranteed access to the Wimbledon Leisure Centre (a 5 minute walk from Milner School). Includes use of a 25 metre swimming pool, large gymnasium and fitness classes. (Ask for gym tickets at Milner's Reception, on arrival. You must also present your student card when you use the Leisure Centre.)
- A visit to the famous Wimbledon Tennis Museum!
COST PER WEEK for the above: £378 per week.
Students who participate in the ENGLISH + TENNIS PROGRAMME for more than one week, can participate in ONE social activity per week, free of charge, from Milner's Social Programme. Book your chosen excursion/s at Reception on arrival. Our Social Programme varies every month - see our Social Programme page for examples.
Please note: 
- Westside Lawn Tennis Club requires you to wear appropriate clothing for tennis lessons: white top or bottom, and suitable tennis shoes.
- The Westside Club is a short bus ride from Milner School (take the 200 bus from Wimbledon Police Station, Queens Rd, Bus Stop J. Get off the bus at Woodhayes Rd.)

FREE PRONUNCIATION CLASS:
Our new FREE PRONUNCIATION CLASS commences on Friday 13th January, 1.30pm - 2.15pm. This free class will take place on a weekly basis, and is open to all Milner students who would like to improve their pronunciation for more effective communication. The classes will cover pronunciation points ranging from individual sounds and word stress to sentence stress and intonation. No advance booking is required. Students can simply turn up on the day.
