Facilities
Milner School has 17 centrally
heated classrooms and a spacious student lounge, all light and
airy with wall-to-wall
carpets and comfortable furniture. There is a computer room
offering free internet access. Non-Roman scripts are
available. For those who prefer to use their own laptop, we
have a free wireless network available throughout the school.
Our library and self-access room is
stocked with a good supply of books, DVD's, cassettes and magazines
to cater for all levels, for individual study at home or at
school. Materials are colour-coded so identifying the correct
level is easy. Milner School's librarian is able to assist
students in finding appropriate materials.
Located in the student lounge, Milner’s own cafe serves homemade food and hot and cold drinks every morning and lunchtime. We also offer our students a comprehensive daily supply of newspapers and popular magazines in the lounge area.
All students receive a free Student Identification card, which entitles them to some local discounts. This may include discounts at the cinema, at some hair salons and clothing stores. The Wimbledon Public Library is on the same street as Milner School and our students are entitled to free membership and use of its massive resources.
