First Certificate in English (FCE)

Entry to the FCE course is gained after passing our pre-entry test.
FCE is suitable for upper-intermediate level students.
At the end of the course, FCE students should have a very good grasp of vocabulary and be able to construct a convincing argument. They should also be aware of varying degrees of formality and politeness as expressed in language.
FCE is recognized by some employers and universities as proof of intermediate level. Those working in industries which require use of English, such as business or tourism, will benefit greatly from our FCE course.
The FCE exam is comprised of five sections: Reading - 1 hour 15 minutes. Writing - 1 hour 30 minutes. Use of English - 1 hour 15 minutes. Listening - 40 minutes. Speaking - 14 minutes.
The FCE examination is approximately equivalent in level to TOEFL 475 - 500 and TOEIC 625 - 660.
